Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the defect of a color filter in which when a projection such as a photo-spacer or a projection for controlling orientation is missing, the missing projection is repaired and when a shape of the projection becomes defective, the projection is repaired; and also to provide a color filter. SOLUTION: A spare projection Ps2 formed in advance is installed in the missing portion of the projection and the portion is repaired. The projection having a defective shape is removed, and a spare projection Mv3 formed in advance is installed in the removed portion and the projection is repaired. The projection is formed by photolithographing method, and, simultaneously, the spare projection is formed. An adhesive 44 is provided under the spare projection. The spare projection is detached with a micro knife N by using a micromanipulator. The spare projection is moved and installed by a micro suction member K by using the micromanipulator.
