Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly measure influence of a hub vortex separately from measurement of propeller performance. SOLUTION: A hub 10 of a propeller 9 is attached to a rear end of a propeller shaft 8, which is rotatably drivable inside a uniform flow. A plate member 15 is disposed on a coaxial core at a position behind and near the hub 10, and a required site of its outer periphery is attached to a front end face of a shaft member 13, disposed at a backward position separated by a required dimension via a long and thin brace member 16, extending in a longitudinal direction. The side of the front end of the shaft member 13 is supported by a rear-support member via a load cell. A hub vortex 17, generating when rotatably driving the propeller 9, transmits a force which corresponds to a resistance acting on the plate member 15, when it is peeled from a rear side of the plate member 15 provided at the position behind and near the hub 10 of the propeller 9 to the load cell via the brace member 16 and the shaft member 13, thereby making it carry out measurement.
