Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular light source unit which is downsized and easy in maintenance such as replacement. SOLUTION: The vehicular light source unit includes: an outer lens; a housing; a circuit case portion; and a light source portion. As for the circuit case portion, its peripheral wall is formed of a material higher in heat conductivity than that of the housing and mounted on a peripheral edge of an opening portion formed in the housing. The light source portion includes: a self light-emitting semiconductor light source; a heat dissipating plate; and a circuit board. The self light-emitting semiconductor light source is exposed to an inside of the housing from the opening portion of the housing, and the heat dissipating plate is thermally coupled with the self light-emitting semiconductor light source and the peripheral wall of the circuit case portion, and the circuit board is housed between the peripheral wall of the circuit case portion and the heat dissipating plate.
