DATA ANALYSIS SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data analysis system for extracting a time-series pattern from time-series data including information indicating order relation and to provide a method for the data analysis system. SOLUTION: A processor 101 in a computer 100 composing a system executes a program stored in a memory 102, and extracts a time-series pattern which has a predetermined number of repeats or more and moreover has the predetermined number of repeats or more in the predetermined amount of time-series data or more by counting the number of time-series patterns repeated in each time-series data and appearance frequency which is the number of time-series data in which the number of repeated time-series patterns is the predetermined value or more. Further, check points are prepared in each time-series data at predetermined intervals, an upper limit value of the number of repeated time-series patterns in each time-series data is calculated in each check point, and an appearance frequency is counted by using the upper limit values to restrict ranges of the time-series pattern and the time-series data for counting the number of repeats.
