Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time synchronization device which correctly outputs synchronization timing signal even when GPS satellite radio waves cannot be received, and a method for time synchronization correction of the same. SOLUTION: In the device, a built-in oscillator 1 outputs phase difference signal between 1 pps signal from GPS receiver R and clock to be output to an oscillation controller 3, and oscillating frequency control signal for eliminating this phase difference is output to the oscillation controller 3 and the built-in oscillator 1. When the 1 pps signal has been shutoff, the oscillation controller 3 generates oscillating frequency control signal which corrects a drift from a drift quantity of frequency per unit time previously-measured/recorded on the built-in oscillator 1 from a drift recording section 5 and a signal shutoff time recording section 6 of a log section LG, and outputs this signal to the built-in oscillator 1, while a timing signal generator 2 externally outputs synchronization timing signal generated by using clock from the built-in oscillator 1.
