Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a required engine output while suppressing abnormal combustion in middle and high rotation areas where a supercharging effect is expected and also to ensure combustion stability even in an extremely low load area (b2) when using gasoline, in a dual-fuel engine 1 including a supercharger 20 supercharging intake air and an intercooler 12 cooling the supercharged intake air, and selectively using the gasoline and hydrogen fuel. SOLUTION: When the gasoline is used in the middle and high rotation areas of the engine 1, the effective compression ratio of an operation chamber is reduced by a Miller cycle or the like in almost the whole operation area (b1), thereby providing the required engine output while suppressing the abnormal combustion in conjunction with supercharging and cooling of the intake air. In this regard, however in the extremely low load area (b2), the effective compression ratio is relatively increased, thereby ensuring ignitability of an air-fuel mixture and combustion stability. Meanwhile, when the hydrogen fuel is used, the effective compression ratio is reduced in the whole area (a1) of the middle and high rotation areas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
