CYLINDER HEAD COVER STRUCTURE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head cover structure reduced in cost. SOLUTION: A resin baffle plate 2 is joined by vibration welding to the back side of a resin cylinder head cover 1 and there are formed between them a first oil separator chamber 3 and an extension passage 5 having one end communicating with the first oil separator chamber 3 and the other end extending obliquely toward a parting plane between a cylinder head and the cylinder head cover 1. The extension passage 5 is formed in a shape halved respectively on the cylinder head cover 1 and the baffle plate 2, the parting plane of the extension passage 5 is set to incline along the inclination of the extension passage 5 and is formed to continue to the parting plane between the cylinder head cover 1 and the baffle plate 2 at the outer peripheral edge of the baffle plate 2.
