PRINTING DEVICE IN PRINTING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR REPLACING AT LEAST ONE PRINTING PLATE OF PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved printing device in a printing machine and a novel method for replacing a printing plate of its plate cylinder. SOLUTION: The printing device in the printing machine includes: a plate cylinder 10; a setting device included in the plate cylinder for a printing plate 11 set in the plate cylinder over the axial-direction width of the plate cylinder, and including a first stretching implement 16 for the leading edge of the printing plate and a second stretching implement 17 for the trailing edge; and a roller beam 25 which cooperates with the setting device. The second stretching implement has a clamp element formed as a clamp spindle 18 and an operation element. The clamp spindle is formed through the axial-width direction of the plate cylinder, and rotatable between a first position (position of fastening the printing plate trailing edge 13 located along the axial-direction width of the plate cylinder by the clamp spindle) and a second position (position of releasing the trailing edge of the printing plate located along the axial-direction width of the plate cylinder by the clamp spindle) by the operation element.
