Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage system which directly supplies DC power between a battery and a DC load without inversion for converting AC power into DC power. SOLUTION: The energy storage system includes a first battery 60 supplying first battery power, a bidirectional converter 70 converting the first battery power into DC power, an integrating control machine 80 controlling the discharging and charging of the first battery by setting the discharging mode and charging mode of the first battery, and a DC load 90 including a second battery supplying second battery power. The first battery power is supplied to the DC load 90 through the bidirectional converter 70 in the discharging mode of the first battery 60, and in the charging mode of the first battery 60, the second battery power is converted through the bidirectional converter 70 into DC power for supply to the first battery 60.
