Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of image quality to occur because of thinning non-edge parts of characters/line drawing at a uniform thinning rate without depending on the color and size of the characters/line drawing. SOLUTION: The thinning rate for thinning data of the non-edge parts of characters/line drawing is set according to the color and size of the characters/line drawing. Thus, since it becomes possible to set the thinning rate optimal to the color and size of the characters/line drawing, a high quality image with sufficient density of the non-edge parts can be obtained without depending on the color and size of the characters/line drawing.
