SOLUTION: The method of operating the fuel cell in an embodiment is structured of a step of supplying a fuel cell and supplying an output power to a load, a step of measuring an initial average voltage of the output power supplied by the fuel cell, a step of measuring a first average voltage of the output power after the output voltage is supplied by the fuel cell to the load in a first time, and a step of stopping the fuel cell from supplying the output power to the load when a voltage difference between the initial average voltage and the first average voltage is larger than a first allowed voltage difference.
