EARTH RETAINING STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining structure and a construction method of the earth retaining structure in which a sheet-like member is not damaged even if side pressure of the back face ground is applied thereto. SOLUTION: The earth retaining structure 1 includes: a plurality of guide piles 2 installed at spaces in the back face ground 14; the sheet-like member 3 provided to cover a sidewall 15 of an excavation part 13; anchor members 4 locked to side edge parts 3a of the sheet-like member 3; and fixing members 5 fixing the sheet-like member 3 and the anchor members 4 to the guide piles 2. The sheet-like member 3 is installed to cover the sidewall 15 between a pair of guide piles 2 for fixing the side edge parts 3a on both sides of the sheet-like member 3 respectively. Both side edge parts 3a of the sheet-like member 3 are hooked to the outer side edges of the anchor members 4 and folded so as to be fixed to the flanges 7 on the excavation part side by the fixing members 5 in a state of being locked to the anchor members 4.
