PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer compound in which a light absorption terminal wavelength is a long wavelength. SOLUTION: The polymer compound includes a structure unit represented by formula (1) and a structure unit different from the structure unit represented by formula (1), wherein Q1and Q2are the same or different and represent -S-, -O-, -Se- or -N(R3)-, R1, R2and R3are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an arylalkyl group, an arylalkyloxy group, an arylalkythio group, an aryl group, an aryloxy group, an arylthio group, an aralkyl group, an aralkyloxy group, an aralkylthio group, an acyl group, an acyloxy group, an amido group, an acid imido group, an amino group, a substituted amino group, a substituted silyl group, a substituted silyloxy group, a substituted silylthio group, a substituted silylamino group, a monovalent heterocyclic group, a heterocyclic oxy group, a heterocyclic thio group, an arylalkenyl group, an arylalkynyl group, a carboxyl group or a cyano group.
