Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method by which waste is not discharged as far as possible in a simple waste liquid treating process with a small amount of use of chemicals in the waste liquid containing hexavalent chromium. SOLUTION: A water absorption gel capable of adsorbing hexavalent chromium and desorbing after reducing the hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium and having a polyether chain in a molecule is mixed with the hexavalent chromium-containing aqueous solution.
