ELECTROMAGNETIC COOKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic cooking device that facilitates confirmation from a remote position whether a cooking container is mounted on a plate and how the cooking container is heated and greatly improving working efficiency of cooking in a restaurant or the like. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic cooking device has the plate for mounting the cooking container, an induction heating coil arranged at a lower part of the plate, a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the cooking container, a cooking container detection sensor for detecting existence of the cooking container on the plate, a light source for radiating light to the plate, and a control means for controlling a current value circulated in the induction heating coil on the basis of output of the temperature sensor and the cooking container detection sensor. The light source is made from a multicolor light source capable of switching a light emitting color to a plurality of different colors, and the control means switches the light emitting color of the light source on the basis of output of the cooking container detection sensor and/or the temperature sensor.
