Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmissive multicolor printed matter which is excellent in the gradation of an image in a low density part, while securing a high density and to provide a method for forming the transmissive multicolor printed matter and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the transmissive multicolor printed matter having the image formed on the front and rear surfaces of a transmissive recording medium, and it is composed of a front surface image, the transmissive recording medium and a rear surface image in order from the front surface. The rear surface image is a mirror image with respect to the front surface image, and as for the rear surface image, the image is formed only in a position corresponding to the high density part of the front surface image.
