Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device which adequately executes intake valve lift amount control and throttle valve opening control in a high load operation state of an internal combustion engine, and which achieves expected engine output performance while suppressing an increase in the amount of internal exhaust gas recirculation. SOLUTION: In a first high load control region RWOT1, a target lift amount ALCMD is maintained at a first high load lift amount ALCMDM, and a target gauge pressure PBGACMD is set according to a target intake air amount GAIRCMD, and the throttle valve opening TH is controlled so that a gauge pressure PBGA coincides with a target gauge PBGA. In a second high load control region RWOT2 on a higher load side. the target gauge pressure PBGACMD is set at "0", and the throttle valve opening TH is maintained at a maximum opening, and the intake valve lift amount LFT is controlled according to the target intake air amount GAIRCMD.
