DOOR FALL PREVENTING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door fall preventing mechanism which is simple and lightweight to match doors without narrowing the opening of a cabinet or reducing storage capacity and is improved in cost performance. SOLUTION: The fall preventing mechanism includes the doors 20a, 20b vertically movable along guides 19 on both sides, and stopper means 24 provided on both side edges of the doors 20a, 20b. The stopper means 24 includes a plate-like locking piece 30 and an elastic member 31. The locking pieces 30 are arranged at the side edges of the doors 20a, 20b, and wires 23 are inserted through the locking pieces 30. When the wires 23 are cut off, the locking pieces 30 are turned by the elastic members 31, and the projected locking pieces 30 abut on the guides 19 to prevent the fall of the doors 20a, 20b. The simple stopper means 24 are thus enclosed in the doors 20a, 20b to improve cost performance without narrowing the opening of the cabinet or reducing the storage capacity.
