Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a UD layer (2) with a predetermined width from a predetermined number of filament bundles (5) to produce the UD layer (2) having a uniform thickness as much as possible by bringing the filament bundles (5) to cross the UD layer (2) in the longitudinal direction and to be opened and juxtaposed to strips (16, 17). SOLUTION: Therefore, the strips (16, 17) are opened in a width larger than the divided width obtained by dividing the predetermined layer width by the number of filament bundles (5).
