DECORATION MOLDING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration molding material in which a textured pattern obtained by the transfer of irregularities on the surface of a forming material, metallic luster, coloring and printed patterns are imparted, simultaneously and clearly with high productivity, to a plastic substrate and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the decoration molding material includes a process (A) of forming a laminate consisting of a transfer material having a design layer on one side of a plastic film and a forming material having irregularities on at least one side, laminated in order on a plastic substrate, a process (B) of heating the laminate to melt the plastic substrate, a process (C) of pressing the laminate with the plastic substrate in a molten state, at least from the side of the forming material, to obtain a transferred laminate and a process (D) of releasing the plastic film of the transfer material and the forming material, after cooling of the transferred laminate, to form a textured pattern on the design layer and the surface of the plastic substrate on the side of the design layer.
