DESIGN METHOD OF IMPLANT RESTORATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method of an implant restoration which does not require an entity model of an oral cavity to be created. SOLUTION: In the method, in a step (a), a reference instrument is installed in an oral cavity. A reference instrument corresponding to a fixture is selected and the reference instrument is placed on the fixture. In a step (b), scanning is performed. An inside of the oral cavity of a patient is scanned by a scanner and digital oral data inside the oral cavity, digital reference instrument data, and digital feature point data are obtained. In a step (c), a localization is performed. A digital implant restoration is selected from a database of restorations stored in a computer and a digital localization instrument is put on the digital implant restoration. In a step (d), adjustment and design is performed. By digital combination data, precision in combining the digital implant restoration and digital fixture data is determined.
