Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core which is easily manufactured without needing the highly expensive molding facility, and has high occupancy rate, to provide a motor for an axial gap, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The core is formed by using a wound magnetic core member having a bending part around which a soft magnetic alloy thin band is wound, and includes at least the wound magnetic core member and an outer peripheral side wound core member using the soft magnetic alloy thin band disposed on the outer peripheral side of the wound magnetic core member. The peripheral side surface of the wound magnetic core member and the inner side surface of the outer peripheral side wound magnetic core member are in contact with each other in the state where gaps are partially provided.
