SUBLIMATION TYPE PRINTER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a distinct print having a high resolution even if an original image is retrieved from an image group to be printed and there is no original image when a printing-specified image has an image editing history such as resizing, trimming or the like and enlargement processing is required when preparing printing image data. SOLUTION: In a sublimation type printer device, the original image is retrieved from the image group to be printed with the image selected for printing, and printing processing is conducted by using the original image when the image having the editing history is printing-specified from the image group to be printed and the size of the long side of the selected image is smaller than that of the long side of the printing image data peculiar to the device. In the sublimation type printer device, substitutional processing is conducted when there is no original image as the result of retrieval, and substitutional processing is also conducted even if the size of the long side of the original image is smaller than that of the long side of the printing image data peculiar to the device as the result of retrieval.
