Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an operation panel capable of easily changing a set value of various parameters of various components that are arranged, and to provide a method. SOLUTION: The operation panel, having an inputting/outputting means capable of setting a parameter to operate a host device, has a control part, a first storing part for storing setting information about set values of parameters, and an interface part for connecting to an external storage medium, wherein the control part is configured so as to determine whether the external storage medium is connected to the interface part, and read user setting information about a set value of a user's desired parameter stored in the external storage medium from the external storage medium through the interface part to store the read user setting information as setting information in a first storing part when the external storage medium is connected to the interface part.
