METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR APPLICATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize operating environments for an application program among a plurality of computers. SOLUTION: A PC 1 executes an application to form an operating area for generating a file with a default file name on a main memory (201). The PC receives an instruction for synchronizing an operational environment, prior to storing the file in a nonvolatile storage device (205). When the instruction for synchronization is received, an operating context relating to a file which exists on the main memory and which is yet to be stored in the nonvolatile storage device is transmitted from the PC 1 to an PC 2. The PC 2 receives the operating context. When the PC 2 executes an application to form an operating area for generating a file with the default filename on a main memory, the PC loads the operating context received from the PC 1 to the operating area.
