Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter unit for a vehicle capable of performing direction display by a segment display, without enlarging the area of the overall display portion. SOLUTION: In the meter unit 50 for vehicle that performs direction display for showing a direction of a target position, based on present position information and target position information, direction display is performed by using a speed/direction display portion S for displaying vehicle speed by the segment display having a plurality of segments. The speed/direction display part S includes auxiliary segments L8, L9, R8, R9 in 7 segments L1-L7 of the left-side display portion and 7 segments R1-R7 of the right-side display portion RS, which show two digit numbers and displays the direction by an arrow shape. Each auxiliary segment has a linear shape arranged slanted in an oblique upward or downward in a space enclosed by the 7 segments, and indicates an arrowhead portion and a shaft portion of the arrow shape. An antenna 70, or the like, for receiving a GPS signal necessary for performing direction display is disposed on the outside of the meter unit 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
