Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid locking device for a vehicle in which assembling man-hours of a cap to a retainer provided on the supporting wall of a lid box can be reduced by dispensing with work from the inside of the lid box, and a worker can confirm precisely the completion of the cap to the retainer, and the detachability of the cap to the retainer is improved. SOLUTION: The vehicular lid locking device 100 includes a retainer 10, a cap 20 and a lock pin 30. The retainer 10 is formed with a fitting part 13 where the tip 21 of the cap 20 is fitted from the outside of a lid box 210 to the inside of the lid box 210, and with a locking part 12a formed outside the lid box 210 from the fitting part 13. The cap 20 is formed with an operation lever 22 having an engaging part 22a engaged with and disengaged from the locking part 12a, and elastically deformed through operation outside the lid box 210 to be inclined.
