METHOD FOR SPECIFYING INFILTRATION PLACE OF ABNORMAL WATER IN SEWER PIPELINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an infiltration place of abnormal water in a sewer pipeline such as a rainwater pipeline or a soil water pipeline by a sure, reliable and simple method. SOLUTION: A first method for specifying the infiltration place of abnormal water in the sewer pipeline as the method for specifying the infiltration place of abnormal water in the sewer pipeline 1, includes installing temperature recording devices 8 recording temperature in the sewer pipeline 1 every preset time, at a plurality of places along the downstream side to the upstream side of the sewer pipeline 1, recording the temperature in the sewer pipeline 1 by the respective temperature recording devices 8 for a predetermined period, collecting the respective temperature recording devices 8 from the respective installation places after recording is terminated, comparing temperature histories recorded in the respective collected temperature recording devices 8, and specifying the infiltration of abnormal water upstream from the installed place of the temperature recording device 8 that has recorded the temperature history different from the normal temperature range of original flowing water in the sewer pipeline 1.
