Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating indium from tin, which adequately extracts and separates indium from tin in a solution containing indium and tin by using an organic solvent, and to provide a method for separating indium from tin and recovering both. SOLUTION: The method for separating indium from tin includes: bringing the aqueous solution containing indium and tin into contact with an ion-exchange type organic solvent, in a state of keeping the oxidation-reduction potential of the aqueous solution in a plus side (oxidation state) and controlling the pH to a strongly acidic condition of 0 or less, preferably in a state of keeping the ORP at +0.15 V and controlling the pH to a strongly acidic condition of -0.3 or less; and making the organic solvent selectively extract a tin ion to separate the tin ion from an indium ion of the aqueous phase. The method for recovering indium and tin from the organic solvent and the aqueous solution from which indium and tin have been separated, respectively is also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
