Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security device for an automobile, which can fulfill its function even in the case of having difficulty in detecting breakage of window glass. SOLUTION: A biasing member 40 biases the window glass of a vehicle. The displacement of the biasing member 40 with the breakage of the window glass 5 is detected by a magnetic sensor 61. A microcomputer activates an infrared sensor for detecting an intruder into the interior of the vehicle at the time of detecting the abnormal behavior of the window glass 5 with the magnetic sensor 61 following the impact against the window glass 5.
