TIRE INFORMATION ACQUISITION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire information acquisition method for reducing a load to be generated in a radio base station. SOLUTION: In the tire information acquisition method, a tire information monitoring system equipped with sensor modules 20, 22, 24, and 26 for detecting tire information including any of the internal pressure and temperature of a tire, a transmission part for transmitting the tire information, and a reception part; and a radio base station 100 equipped with a reception part for receiving the tire information and a transmission part, is provided to allow the radio base station 100 to acquire the tire information. The tire information acquisition method includes: a recording process for recording the tire information in the memory 54 of the vehicle; a request signal transmission process in which the transmission part of the radio base station 100 transmits a transmission request signal; a reception process in which the reception part of the vehicle receives the transmission request signal; and an acquisition information transmission process in which only when the reception part receives the transmission request signal, the transmission part of the vehicle transmits the acquisition information including the tire information recorded in the memory 54 and identification information of the vehicle to the radio base station 100.
