Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of estimating phase difference and the standard deviation spectrum of a refractive index (real part) or the like, even from one measurement of a sample. SOLUTION: The measuring data of a reference waveform measured without inserting the sample and a sample waveform measured by inserting the sample are measured in a timewise near order while the difference between the maximum pulse approximate position and the maximum pulse average position (called as the maximum pulse position time difference) is calculated with respect to the reference waveform and the shift of a phase produced in a reference phase spectrum by the maximum pulse position time difference is corrected by the following formula (1) (wherein (ω) is a corrected phase spectrum, m(ω) is a measured phase spectrum, δt is the maximum pulse position time difference and ω is 2π×terahertz frequency).
