Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated aluminum alloy excellent in adhesion durability which is free from deterioration in strength of adhesion due to the occurrence of interfacial peeling caused by deterioration with age when the alloy are adhered by using adhesive and which is favorable in the aspect of the collision safety when it is used, in particular, for a panel for automobile and to provide a method for surface treatment of the aluminum alloy excellent in adhesion durability. SOLUTION: The surface-treated aluminum alloy excellent in adhesion durability includes a Mg-containing aluminum alloy base material, a metallic oxide-based base coating film formed on a surface of the Mg-containing aluminum alloy base material, and an organic phosphonate coating film formed on the metal oxide-based base coating film.
