Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems of a PWM cyclo (R) converter device to be used for a lift or the like: when a storage battery is used as an emergency power source, a large regenerative power generated by a motor cannot be received completely, and a charging circuit is required when a large-capacity capacitor is used. SOLUTION: In an emergency, an electric accumulator (8) is connected between a pair of lines of three lines constituting an input three-phase line, and a capacitor (9) for power regeneration is connected between another pair of lines of the three lines, so that a bidirectional switch module (7) performs PWM control in such a way that the electric accumulator (8) is connected with the motor (3) during powering, and the bidirectional switch module (7) performs PWM control in such a way that the capacitor (9) for power regeneration is connected with the motor (3) during power regeneration, to receive the regenerative power produced during regenerative operation of the motor (3) by the capacitor (9) for power regeneration.
