Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting off a liquid crystal cell mother substrate and an automated cutting system therefor. SOLUTION: The method includes (a) a step of positioning the liquid crystal cell mother substrate and directing a first substrate in a cutting direction, (b) a step of cutting off the first substrate, (c) a step of uniformly and firmly fixing an outer face of the liquid crystal cell mother substrate, inverting the liquid crystal cell mother substrate and directing a second substrate in the cutting direction, and (d) a step of cutting off the second substrate so as to correspond to the step (b) and forming a plurality of liquid crystal cells.
