Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary valve which can be reduced in size, and a multi-valve type pulse tube refrigerator having such a rotary valve. SOLUTION: In the rotary valve, a plurality of first ports for supplying high-pressure refrigerants to a regenerator and exhausting low-pressure refrigerants from the regenerator and a plurality of second ports for supplying high-pressure refrigerants to a pulse tube and exhausting low-pressure refrigerants from the pulse tube are provided on a sliding surface of a stationary seat. The first ports are arranged so as to be rotationally symmetric with respect to the center of the sliding surface of the stationary seat within a first track area located at the same radius position from the center of the sliding surface of the stationary seat. The second ports are arranged so as to be rotationally symmetric with respect to the center of the sliding surface of the stationary seat within a second track area different from the first track area located at the same radius position from the center of the sliding surface of the stationary seat.
