AIR FILTER CLEANING MECHANISM AND PROJECTOR APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter cleaning mechanism causing no contamination of the surroundings due to dust leaked outside, even if the placing way of the air filter cleaning mechanism is changed. SOLUTION: The air filter cleaning mechanism is provided with a dust removal device 19 removing dust 17 attached to an air filter 8, a dust removal device housing chamber 23 containing the dust removal device 19, a dust housing chamber 24 storing the dust 17 removed by the dust removal device 19 adjacent to the dust removal device housing chamber 23, and has a return preventive body 25 preventing return of the dust 17 stored in the dust housing chamber 24 to the dust removal device housing chamber 23. The return preventive body 25 prevents the dust 17 stored in the dust housing chamber 24 from leaking outside through the dust removal device housing chamber 23, therefore, the dust 17 will not go to the outside through the dust removal device housing chamber 23 and contaminate the surroundings, even if the placing way of an electronic device loaded with the air filter cleaning mechanism 3 is changed.
