MIST GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator avoiding a large swirling flow of a liquid of a liquid storage part during rotation of a rotor, and suitably inhibiting variation of the mist generation amount caused by the swirling flow and generation of noise. SOLUTION: A mist generator MG1 protrudes upward from a bottom surface 14a of a liquid storage part 14, and it has a protrusion part 4 for inhibiting a swirling flow, and the whole or one part of the protrusion part 4 is arranged to be immersed in a liquid of a liquid storage part 14 inhibiting the liquid of the liquid storage part 14 from swirling around the axial part 21 during rotation of a rotor 2, and the protrusion part 4 has a standing surface 40 standing upward from the bottom surface 14a of the liquid storage part 14 at a position near the outer peripheral surface 21a of the axial part 21 and being opposite to the outer peripheral surface 21a of the axial part 21, and the whole or one part of the standing surface 40 has an inclined surface which is inclined to the same direction of a taper of the outer peripheral surface 21a of the axial part 21, and the inclined surface and the outer peripheral surface 21a of the axial part 21 are mutually opposite and close through a gap C with almost constant width.
