Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously execute releasing of lock and driving rotation of a pinion by one action rotating an operation section and to rotate in both directions by a lock pawl automatically biting into the pinion when stopping rotation input by an operation section. SOLUTION: In reversible type rotation transmission mechanism, a driving gear 4 has key grooves 7 forming a space (a play) where a coupling key 6 of a rotary shaft 5 hollowly rotates in a certain range, the rotary shaft is interlocked with the driving gear 4 after only the rotary shaft 5 hollowly rotates in the certain range, at least a lock releasing key 12 pushes either one of lock members in a lock releasing direction, a lock pawl is released from the driving gear 4, and the driving gear interlocked with the rotary shaft via the coupling key becomes able to rotate when the coupling key 6 of the rotary shaft 5 hollowly rotates in the inside space of the key grooves 7 and comes into contact with one side walls 7a of the key grooves 7.
