SOLUTION: In the electronic scanning type array antenna apparatus employing the circular polarization element antenna as the antenna element, a cross polarization element antenna is added, which mainly radiates a cross polarized wave component, and an amplitude and a phase of the cross polarized wave component radiated from the antenna are controlled, thereby reducing a cross polarized wave component in a beam-forming direction during wide-angle beam scanning.
