Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a photoelectric conversion semiconductor layer which does not require a high-temperature process, can be manufactured at low cost, shows high adhesion to a substrate, has less residual organic component, and possesses superior electric characteristics. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the photoelectric conversion semiconductor layer includes step (A) of forming a coating layer on a substrate by applying a coating agent thereon, the coating agent containing a plurality of inorganic particles each of which contains a metallic element identical in kind with a main component of the photoelectric conversion semiconductor layer and one or two kinds or more of organic components, and step (C) of heating the coating layer at a temperature high enough to eliminate the organic components while pressurizing the coating layer. At the step (A), the coating agent containing at least one kind of a solvent selected from an inorganic solvent and/or an organic solvent is used.
