Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor element with low resistivity and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor element includes an anode layer including metal having a valve action, a dielectric layer formed on a surface of the anode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer formed on a surface of the dielectric layer, the surface not adjoining the anode layer, wherein the solid electrolyte layer includes an π conjugated-type conductive polymer and a polymer including a structural unit represented by formula (1).
