SEAL STRUCTURE BETWEEN BURNER AND FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a burner and a furnace, capable of adjusting a position and an angle of the burner. SOLUTION: An annular mounting member 4 concentric to an opening section 3, is fixed to an outer wall surface 2a of a furnace wall 2. A seal-like heat insulating material 5 composed of annular ceramic fiber having a hole 6 is mounted inside of the mounting member 4. The seal-like heat insulating material 5 is held by the outer wall surface 2a and a pressing plate member 8, and the pressing plate member 8 is fixed to the mounting member 4 by a screw 9, thus the seal-like heat insulating material 5 is mounted on the furnace wall 2 in a state that the hole 6 is concentric to the opening section 3. The burner 7 is mounted on the furnace 1 in a state of being inserted to the hole 6 and the opening section 3. The seal-like heat insulating material 5 is tightly kept into contact with an outer peripheral face 7a of the burner 7 to seal between the furnace 1 and the burner 7. A clearance gap 10 is formed between the pressing plate member 8 and the outer peripheral face 7a of the burner 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
