SEALING DEVICE FOR ROLLER BEARING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for a roller bearing that does not require an annealing or post-bending of an outer ring member and improves the assemblability of seal members. SOLUTION: The sealing device for the roller bearing includes a shaft member 10, the roller bearing 20 assembled to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 10; and the seal member 50 sealing an annular clearance between the shaft member 10 and the roller bearing 20. The roller bearing 20 includes the outer ring member 21 having collar parts 22, 23 at both axial ends, and a cage 31 having a plurality of rollers 30 and pockets 33 for holding the rollers 30. The seal member 50 is formed of an elastic body, and includes an annular base part 51 positioned and fitted into an annular groove 11 formed in a position corresponding to one collar part 22 of the outer ring member 21 on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member 10, and a seal lip 52 extended radially outward from the outer peripheral surface of the annular base part 51 to come in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the one collar part 22.
