CABLE TENSIONING DEVICE AND WINDOW REGULATOR PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable tensioning device which can apply a tension to a cable assembled to a vehicle door, and a window regulator provided with the cable tensioning device, which facilitates assembling to a vehicle door. SOLUTION: A carrier plate includes a holder connection part 33 connecting a glass holder 2, a cable end connection part, a cable end accommodation part 32, a support member 26 provided with a support side guide 34 guiding a pressing part 24, an insertion part 50 inserted into a cable end accommodation part 32, and a cover side guide 46 disposed with a gap 51 larger than the width of the tip of the pressing part 24 with regard to a support side guide member for guiding the pressing part 24. The carrier plate further includes a cover member 27 assembled movably in the axial direction of the cable end accommodation part 32 relative to the support member 26, and an urging member 54 is provided between the other cable end 28 and the insertion part 50.
