Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved dosing means which enables continuous dosing of a dopamine agonist for a long period. SOLUTION: The implantable device for dosing a dopamine agonist to a mammal requiring dosing of the dopamine agonist includes the dopamine agonist and a biocompatible nonerodible polymeric matrix. Here, when the dopamine agonist is sealed in the matrix and the implantable device is subcutaneously implanted in a mammal, the dopamine agonist implantable device releases dopamine agonist continuously in vivo through pores that open to the surface of the matrix at a rate that results in a plasma level of at least about 0.01 ng/mL in a stationary state.
