ROUTE LOCUS POINT CALCULATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NUMERICAL CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in conventional technology, data volume of serial communication is increased and locus errors occurs. SOLUTION: A route locus point calculation apparatus for a numerical control system is disclosed which is applied to calculation of working route locus points of a computer numerically controlled machine tool. The route locus point calculation apparatus mainly includes a master control means and a servo drive means. The master control means provides an interpreter for generating a plurality of execution instructions by decoding the working route locus points. The plurality of execution instructions are transmitted from the master control means through a serial communication interface to a queue buffer of the servo drive means and stored therein, and further the plurality of execution instructions sent from the queue buffer are received and calculated by a route locus point calculation means to generate a plurality of route locus points.
