WASTE TONER COLLECTION CONTAINER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase a waste toner filling ratio of a waste toner collection container, and also, to accurately detect the full state of the waste toner in the waste toner collection container. SOLUTION: The waste toner collection container for collecting the waste toner discharged from an image forming part has: a waste toner collection opening to receive the waste toner; a toner amount detector to detect the amount of the waste toner in the waste toner collection container; and a waste toner conveyance member to convey the waste toner in the waste toner collection container; wherein the waste toner conveyance member is configured to have a conveyance direction switching position to switch the direction of waste toner conveyance, and viewing from the toner amount detector, the conveyance direction switching position is located closer to the toner amount detector than is the waste toner collection opening.
