Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small article storage device of an instrument panel, which can be used as a shelf of an large-sized personal effect, etc., incapable of being stored in a change box, without taking many troubles when storing the small article in the change box. SOLUTION: A hole 20 opening rearward is formed in the instrument panel 1. A drawer 40 is inserted into the hole 20 so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction. The drawer 40 has a tray-like bottom face portion 41, and a lid face portion 45 in the rear end of the bottom face portion 41. A central notch 46 formed in the lid face portion 45 is opened/closed by a shielding body 47 opened by receiving forward pressing force.
