Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an imaging apparatus which can photograph a plurality of images concurrently at the high degree of freedom in settings of an optical system with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A first CCD 212 has the number of pixels of a 1 mega-pixel class, and also has a rectangular imaging face 217 on which a subject image from an imaging lens 211 is formed. A first CCD 212 is provided inside a first terminal device 200 so that a gravity direction of the first terminal device 200 coincides with a longitudinal direction of the imaging face 217. The imaging face 217 is divided into two equal parts of an upward part and downward part with respect to the gravity direction. A region provided in the upward part forms a near infrared ray imaging area, and a region provided in the downward part forms a visible ray imaging area. The first CCD 212 captures the subject image formed in the near infrared ray imaging area and the visible ray imaging area at the same time. Of beam of light incident from a photographing lens, a subject upward in a gravity direction is formed into an image in the visible ray imaging area, and a subject downward in the gravity direction is formed into an image in the near infrared ray imaging area.
